MADC One Act Play Festival 2024 - Call For Directors

CALL FOR DIRECTORS - The MADC One Act Play Festival 2024

Performances 5th to 8th September 2024 at the MADC Playhouse, St Venera.

Call for all aspiring directors wishing to direct a play in the MADC annual One Act Play Festival to be held in September 2024, is now open.  Deadline to apply is Sunday 3rd March 2024 by sending an email to James Sultana at oneacts@madc.com.mt .  Scripts must be submitted by 1st May 2024.  Should you need assistance in finding a suitable script email Stephen Oliver at stephenoliver37@gmail.com 

Applications to direct will be accepted on a first come first served basis, preference being given to those applicants who are fully paid up members of the Club and to directors who have not participated in this festival before.

The following is the criteria for entry:

• Play running time must be no longer than 30 minutes

• Play must have a minimum cast of 4

• Director must make use of minimal set

• Script chosen should preferably be a published play; all plays will need to be assessed before being allowed.
