One Act Play Festival 2023

CALL FOR DIRECTORS - MADC One Act Play Festival 2023

Performances 7th to 10th September 2023

at the MADC Playhouse, St Venera.

 

Call for all aspiring directors wishing to direct a play in the MADC annual One Act Play Festival to be held in September 2023, is now open.  Deadline to apply is Sunday 19th March 2023 by sending an email to James Sultana at oneacts@madc.com.mt .  Scripts must be submitted by 1st May 2023.  Please let us know should you need assistance in finding a suitable script.

 

Applications to direct will be accepted on a first come first served basis, preference being given to those applicants who are fully paid up members of the Club and to directors who have not participated in this festival before.

The following is the criteria for entry:

• Play running time must be no longer than 30 minutes

• Play must have a minimum cast of 4

• Director must make use of minimal set

• Script chosen should preferably be a published play; other plays will need to be

assessed before being allowed.
